[He'd seen some strange activity on his communicator, but hadn't been in a place where he could take it out and investigate unobserved at all. He's silent for a long moment before typing again, swiftly.]

[Sebastian doesn't reply, but a little less than two days later, close to the end of the week, he texts:]

i am back on the barge

[And he will not so much as look at his communicator after that. He gets out of his soaking wet jacket, gives up on the rest of his equally soaking wet clothes, and collapses onto his bed.

He'll be fine in a few hours. Right now he's tired.]

[Hakkai doesn't get a reply back because Sebastian is, in fact, resting (look how good he's gotten at that! be proud of him!).

But yeah, by the time Hakkai's back from his romantic getaway, Sebastian will probably be fine.]
