Thanks. If you don’t mind I’ll have some later - could never eat the first day of a bad injury.
Uh. Thing is…so I don’t know. I thought it was me who blew myself up being an idiot, somehow. But when I was bleeding out, my warden item kept going off. So now I’m not sure. Too tired to look into what happened though.

It should taste good even when cold. [He specifically made a soup that can be served hot or cold.]
Mm, I would say that answers the question. There is something going on, but it is being handled. Please rest in the meantime.

[he settles back against the cushions]
Yeah. Yeah. It's..nice, you know. Back home I'm used to being one of the few who has to solve the problem. Here you can't throw a rock without hitting someone in someone else's business.

I can imagine it must be restful. [Sebastian, too, can't turn his back for five minutes without the manor falling to pieces back home. He loathes not being that important on the Barge. But for any other person, he understands how it'd be a relief.] It is a small point in favour of the Wardens' ability to solve problems as a unified team, I suppose.

Bullshit, we can't team up for anything for long. I mean that people - wardens and inmates - are more attached and less beaten down than what I'm used to.
You want to revamp the ship, don't you?

Were I for some godforsaken reason made responsible for the management of this place... I do wonder if it would be within even my ability to turn it into a functional system. But I believe I would at least be able to whip things somewhat into shape. [Possibly involving literal whips!]
But as it is, I have no attachment to the ship or how it functions aside from when it affects me personally. I would gladly have it crash should that somehow result in my freedom.

If there was a way, I would do it with you.
[not 'for' you. He knows Sebastian too well by now to be insulting him like that]
Christ, I'm tired. I might nod off. But thanks for the soup and the company.

[Sebastian gets up, and very briefly puts a hand on Trevor's shoulder.
Geez, you're in public, tone it down.]I will leave you to rest, then. Sleep well.
